Navigating the complex daily routine in Gekkoukan High School requires balancing your academic pursuits with essential character development. Among the numerous activities available, joining the student council opens up critical pathways for your overall social link progression. Understanding how to locate this room and managing the specific availability schedule is highly beneficial for maximizing your bonds efficiently throughout the school semester.
How to Locate the Student Council Room
Finding the designated room for school governance is relatively straightforward once you know the layout of Gekkoukan High School. You will want to head to the second floor of the main school building where the sophomore classrooms are located. The student council room sits directly opposite Class 2F, making it a highly accessible location during your afternoon free time.
Before you can regularly access this area, you must wait for a specific story trigger early in the game. Mitsuru Kirijo will automatically approach the protagonist and sign them up for the council starting on April 27th or later. Once this invitation is extended, you must visit the faculty office first before heading upstairs to officially unlock the room.
Student Council Social Link Schedule
Managing your weekly calendar is crucial because school-based social links have strict limitations based on the academic year. The student council representative, Hidetoshi Odagiri, is primarily available in the room on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays after school concludes. This frequent availability makes the relationship one of the easier school bonds to advance during the earlier months of the year.
However, players must remain vigilant about seasonal school closures and impending exam periods. Hidetoshi will not be present in the room when midterm or final examinations are close, blocking your progress temporarily. Interestingly, your options expand significantly late in the game, as he becomes available on Tuesdays and Thursdays after January 25th.
Unlocking Additional Social Links
Initiating the Emperor Arcana bond with Hidetoshi is not just important for his individual storyline and fusion bonuses. Progressing this relationship serves as a mandatory prerequisite for discovering another critical companion in Gekkoukan High. Specifically, interacting with the student council allows you to begin pursuing a bond with the club treasurer, Chihiro Fushimi.
To unlock the Justice Arcana route, you must speak to Chihiro while she stands right outside the student council room on multiple separate days. Engaging with her consistently after joining the council will eventually allow you to walk home together and establish a new friendship. Prioritizing these interconnected school relationships early ensures you stay on track for a successful completion run.
